For Muslim Schools in Crimea

In 2000-2001 we have cooperated with "Rebirth of Crimea" Association organizing three weekend workshops for teachers from Tartar schools. The workshops on methodology of teaching and school administration took place in Bahczisaray and involved about 80 teachers and headmasters.

Topics of the three workshops:

• new methods of teaching and administration (November 24-26, 2000)
• active methods of teaching in biology and geography (April 6-8, 2001)
• active methods in Math (November 2-4, 2001)

In 2002 a group of Crimean teachers and the representation of educational authorities from Simferopol visited our Jesuit High School in Gdynia and participated in the open lessons and conferences on education led by the Arrupe Center trainers.
